Children’s Ministries
Jesus said it best, "Let the little children come to me!" So together with children of all ages, we play, pray, sing, serve, worship, laugh, create, and most important of all, grow together in our understanding of what it means for all of us to be children of God. We seek to help children learn of God’s love for them through worship, Sunday School, and other experiences of faith such as Vacation Bible School. And we love when volunteers join us in this enriching journey. Whether you consider yourself "too young," "too old," or "too busy," we need you!

Children's Sunday School & Choirs
Sundays, 9:30am & 10:00am, Church School Building (CSB)
Registration is not required (i.e. bring friends anytime!), but helps our Choir Directors get to know the children, plan appropriately, celebrate birthdays, etc. Sign up here.
1st-5th Grade - 9:30am - Covenant Choir in Room 419 then 10:00am Sunday School in rotating 4th floor classrooms. Parents/Guardians sign out at 10:45am to attend Worship.
PreK & Kindergarten - 8:30am-12pm. Room 304. 9:30am - Cherub Choir in Room 405 & then 10:00am Sunday School in Room 310. Parents/Guardians sign out at 10:45am to attend Worship OR children may stay for Extended Care during 11am Worship.
Preschool (Two's/Three's/Young Four’s)- Room 206. 8:30am-12pm. Open beginning at 8:30am for playtime. Bible story offered during 10am-11am hour. Weather-permitting, playground time will often begin during 11am hour.

Club 1012 ‘Tween Group- No Parents Allowed!
Sundays, 5:45pm-6:45pm, Next meetings: March 24, April 21
Room 211, Church School Building. For 10, 11, & 12-year-olds to come share thoughts, worries, goals, or frustrations away from parents & teachers. Family Faith & Fun Day @ Red Top Mountain State Park
Saturday, April 27
Join us for a potluck picnic dinner and music by the Druid Hills Billys band. Make a day of it with optional hiking, fishing, boating, archery, or just join us for games (hula hoops, parachute, bubbles, and more). We will have fellowship, devotion, and dinner from 4-6pm.

Festival of Christian Home: Celebrating New Babies & Older Adults over 90!

Pentecost Party!

All ages invited to celebrate Pentecost - the historic birthday of the Church - when the Holy Spirit came down like fire and a dove on the first disciples. We'll hear the Bible story, have crafts, games, treats, and weather permitting, playground time! Wear RED, ORANGE, & YELLOW if you'd like! Part of Glenn Family Ministries' May Days Family Play Days for Toddlers through Elementary kids WITH their grown-ups to meet & re-connect with Glenn Church friends. Family Vacation Bible School
Sunday, June 2 – Thursday, June 6th, 5:00—6:30pm
Family VBS registration is now open! Join us from June 2 to June 6, from 5pm-6:30pm, and the Family Campout on the playground on Friday, June 7! We hope your family can join us for at least a few evenings! For toddlers through rising 5th graders with their grown-ups, and adult & youth volunteers. Register here.
Glenn Summer Camp
5 weeks: June 10 - 14, June 17 - 21, June 24 - 28, July 8 - 12, July 15 - 19
Glenn Summer Camp offers five week of camp during the summer where children experience hands on science, drama, clay-working, cooking, nature exploration, music and art. Register here.
Camp is held the weeks of June 10, June 17th, June 24th, July 8th and July 15th. Fees are $175 per week for ages 3 through rising 5th graders. Make payments here for your total amount due after you have completed your registration.

Childcare
Childcare for Worship Services

Children are wanted and welcomed in all services at Glenn and children's worship kits are available. Optional childcare includes:
-Nursery (under age 2) - Room 200, 8:30am-12pm.
-Preschool (Two's/Three's/Young Four’s) - Room 206. 8:30am-12pm. Open beginning at 8:30am for playtime. Joyful Noise Music & Sunday School (Bible story & activities) offered during 10am-11am hour. Weather-permitting, playground time will often begin during 11am hour.
-PreK & Kindergarten - Room 310. 8:30am-12pm. Cherub Choir in Room 405 from 9:30am-10:00am. Then Sunday School (Bible story & activities) at 10am in Room 310. Parents/Guardians sign out at 10:45am to attend Worship OR children may stay for Extended Care during 11am Worship — childcare staff will escort children to the Sanctuary for the Children’s Time and then back to the Church School Building or playground for Extended Care.
-1st-5th Grade - invited to worship with families! Worship Kits are available from the ushers in the LIttle Chapel and Sanctuary. A Children’s Time is offered at most 11am services.
If your infant or small child needs care during worship services, there is a Comfort Room located downstairs at the back of the Sanctuary and rocking chairs available in the Sanctuary and Fellowship Hall. For worship services in the Little Chapel, feel free to step out and use any of the preschool classrooms down the hall. Safe Sanctuaries
A church is a sanctuary in several respects. It is sometimes a place of refuge from the turmoil of the secular world; it is a nurturing community of faith; and it is a source of empowerment for leading lives of faith and witness. Even so, the church is never fully removed from contemporary society, and the church is required to be mindful of the reality of evil in the world.
Glenn strictly adheres to its Child and Youth Protection Policies to ensure the safety and support of all its children and youth. This includes training and regularly updated background checks for all staff and volunteers. Learn more here.
